Please support my journey to the Dance World Cup 2025

My name is Eliza Gaskell, I am 9 years old and I LOVE TO DANCE!

This year I have received the most amazing news that I have qualified to represent my Country and Team England in the Dance World Cup 2025, this is taking place in Burgos, Spain and I am SO HAPPY to be a soloist with my ballet qualifying second place in England for my age category.

Myself and my talented friends have started our training and I will be working extremely hard over the next 5 months to be as prepared as I can and to do my county and my team proud!

I am so lucky to be part of 2 amazing dance schools and I have the most passionate and dedicated teachers who truly believe in me and know what this opportunity means to me.

This year I will be taking part in 15 dances (some large and small group routines, a quartet, 2 duets and my ballet solo)

My aim is bring home some medals but more importantly to do the best I can, enjoy this amazing and unique opportunity, make new friends and make my family, friends, team mates and teachers proud! But most of all to be proud of myself and my journey ahead is so exciting!

My family have been involved with dancing for the past 40 years, my mum, auntie and big sister danced at the same school and had the same teachers as me, and my sister is currently training professionally in musical theatre and I hope to one day follow in her footsteps.

My family are my biggest supporters and grandma Mary (who I was lucky enough to know for 3 years) have been helping me, encouraging me and watching me dance since I was 2 years old!

Anyone that knows me knows how much I love to dance.

If you also would like to support me and my team in any way I would really appreciate it and it would mean so much, this will cover fees for training, costumes for the routines, entry and Dance World Cup fees, equipment needed and travel to Spain, this opportunity is one in a lifetime but costs thousands.

Whilst you cannot put a price on opportunities and memories, any donation of any amount (even if it’s £1) will help so so much.

I fly to Burgos 5 months from today and will be in spain dancing for 7 days, the journey up to then will be tiring but really exiting, and the experience so rewarding and I can’t wait to share this journey with you all!
