Hello, I'm Miriam Russell, a retired college writing professor now delving into screenplay writing based on stories from my memoir, Suddenly Single: A Life After Death. One particular tale close to my heart involves my family's journey, titled "Born a Secret." It follows an adopted woman's brave quest to find her birth parents, driven by a deep desire to uncover her true identity and roots despite growing up in a loving adoptive family. With over five million adopted individuals in the United States, this story resonates widely.

I am fortunate to collaborate with an exceptional team led by actor, producer, and directo,r Christopher Gaunt and Woods Productions. They are poised to begin filming as soon as we secure funding.
