Please Support my Cancer Journey

Hi, my name is Francine, and I have recurrent peritoneal carcinoma (a rare variety of ovarian cancer LGSOC) after 20 years of remission. I've been through a lot with chemotherapies and surgery, but unfortunately, it's terminal this time.

My bucket list doesn't include world travel or living large. It's a logical list for my end-of-life journey and its expenses. I'm asking for your prayers but also for your support. My needs include medical bills on top of regular living expenses as well as funding trips from PA to Vermont to participate in the Medical Aid In Dying program (MAID) as well as the related end-of-life expenses that insurance does not cover.

Like anyone facing devastating illness, I don't want to leave my family in a financial mess. People should not have to stress on these matters at a time when focus on self-care is critical. It's a sad, broken system we live under but it's what we have right now.

There are always positives, though! I have a wonderful husband Kris (he cooks!), two step kids, a doodle and two cats. And even though I'm not working as much now, I still have lots of loving clients who continue to touch my life. I feel blessed.
