Please support my friend Alana

Hi everyone,

I'm reaching out on behalf of my dear friend Alana.

From the very beginning, Alana faced significant challenges. While I won't go into the details of her personal life, please understand that it has been incredibly tough for her.

I met Alana at work in 2020, and we quickly became friends. She was diagnosed with hydrocephalus, a condition you might want to look up if you're unfamiliar with it. Alana underwent brain surgery in 2021 and had to move back home. Since the surgery, she's been on disability and unable to work.

In 2023, Alana moved back to Victoria, where she now lives alone. Unfortunately, her fixed disability income is far from sufficient for a decent living. Last year, she was diagnosed with epilepsy, and during her 28th birthday just last week, she suffered seizures. Alana was hospitalized on July 8th and has been there since, with her memory slowly returning.

I want to surprise Alana with this GoFundMe to help alleviate some of her stress and ensure she has food in her fridge. When I visited her apartment to clean her laundry, I found it unbearably warm, a situation that only adds to her difficulties.

Alana is a kind human. She cares for people and animals even when shes unable to care for herself.

Any contribution, no matter how small, would make a big difference.
