Please Support One of the Good Guys - Frank White

Frank E. White has been our brother-in-law for almost 30 years, after marrying our sister Susan.

Frank is one of the Good Guys.

He is a proud, strong, hard-working, feisty and determined man, to whom family is everything.

It is so painful to put into words that he and his family are reeling from a devastating diagnosis just three weeks ago of Stage IV rectal cancer.

Susan and Frank have been busily attending the appointments, the MRIs and CT scans at the Hartford Healthcare Cancer Center. They are also assembling the notebooks that should be, fittingly, called "Frank's Play-Books".

In gathering their wits, strengths, and resources to become battle-ready, they face the reality of a daunting future of medical expenses and bill-paying.

They are suddenly a one-income family. Susan's co-workers have been helpful in arranging for her to have the time to accompany Frank to appointments. (Thank you, @Whole Foods!)

Frank truly is a humanitarian and has a genuine mission to help and serve others.

He doesn't just 'talk the talk.' He 'walks the walk' in the form of running marathons to raise funds for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

He has done 'the push-ups-every-day challenge' to raise money and awareness of mental health and suicide prevention for Veterans.

Most dear to our family's heart is the money and attention he has brought to the Lymphoma and Leukemia Foundation in memory of our brother, Jean's husband, Anthony Uva.

Frank is one of the Good Guys.

As Frank's friend John said, "Marine, from the Bronx, Master of the Grill. If I were cancer, I would be afraid of Frankie. You Got this Frank!"

Our entire family would be so appreciative if you are able to help give the White Family some loving ease as Frank's journey evolves.
