Can you help us make a lasting impact in the lives of young men striving for a brighter future?

In Paris, where many unaccompanied minors face difficult challenges daily, our football team "Les Gars de la Ville (The City Boys)", offers not just an escape, but a community, and a purpose for these young adults.

Since March of 2024, myself Nathanael Koehler as the Sport Director (https://www.linkedin.com/in/nathanael-koehler-68332617), along with my Program Leadership Team (Julie, Sarah, Pere, Anderson and Marcus), have been running the Sport and Culture Program, with a simple but profound mission: to provide young refugees with weekly football training, meals, a safe space to belong, combined with French cultural assimilation development.

What started with small friendly matches with young men we met living on the streets of Paris, has grown to reach over 60 players. In September, we registered our team in the FSGT competitive league (https://www.footfsgtidf.org) with 22 of our top committed players. In addition, the team has already participated in 2 corporate engagement programs with UPS (www.ups.com) and Algolia (algolia.com), where they received training on how to speak publicly and tell their stories confidently, essential to their recognition process.

Thanks to our dedicated leadership and interns who give their time each week on this project, it has been a tremendous success so far. Yet, the dream doesn’t end there. We need financial support to continue our program and to extend our program to more young refugees in Paris.

For the year 2025, we have a Fundraising Goal of €5,000.

For a donation of €25, your donation will cover one player registration in the league for one year.

For a donation of €50, your donation will cover a full player uniform, a new pair of football boots, and a nutritious post-match meal.

For a donation of €100, your donation will cover a full player uniform, a new pair of football cleated shoes, a nutritious meal and drink after each game, the league registration fee, match space rental, more equipment, and further team building events and training workshops for the players.
