Please Support Prissy's Life-Saving Surgery

Last year, our Humane Society, with the help of Hayden's Hoofbeats Haven, an equine investigation and rescue organization, and Avoyelles Parish deputies, confiscated more than 30 farm and companion animals. Deputies charged the owner with 17 counts of cruelty. Three of the dogs seized tested positive for heartworm disease, and Prissy now needs surgery to remove the large adult heartworms lodged in her right atrium. The surgery is expected to cost between $600 - $800.
