Please Support Rod Foster's Battle with IBM

Donation protected
Rod Foster needs our help. "Rocket Rod", freshman starting guard on UCLA's 1979-80 basketball team coached by Larry Brown which made it to the NCAA Tournament's final game, is battling Inclusion Body Myositis (IBM). This is a rare disease that, over time, attacks the muscles of the body, disabling them. Rod has been battling IBM for seven years and is now confined to a wheelchair and requires assistance to perform the most basic human functions. Rod's NBA career was cut short by a devastating Jeep accident but he played long enough to earn lifetime health insurance coverage. His disabilities have ended his coaching career and his ability to work so he needs our help to supplement his needs beyond those covered by health insurance. He is hoping to purchase a lift-chair and a Hoyer Lift pulley system to provide a bit more mobility with assistance from his 24/7 caregivers and make sleeping more comfortable. Thank you for your consideration, please give what you can. God bless!
