Please help - Pancreatic Cancer Diagnosis

If you are a Palm City or Stuart family who has ever met Cindy Daub, you would know that she is a single mother whose priorities were always first to raise her three amazing kids and then impact thousands of students in this community over decades. Cindy is an excellent, passionate educator of 28 years. She has touched many families with her ability to reach middle school students at their place of need. She is especially known for her strategies and talent for helping students with disabilities to find success in the classroom.

Cindy and her family were already victims of the housing crisis in Martin County where rent prices and space for four on a teacher's salary left them needing outside support to make rent. As of September 1st of this year, they are not able to make the next year's lease agreement.

As long as I have known Cindy, she has faced health issues and other struggles. But she faces it all with grace, perseverance and a beautiful attitude. She is always concerned about how others are doing and keeps her chin up as she pushes forward to give her kids the best outlook on every hardship that has come their way.

Only a week ago, Cindy was diagnosed with Stage 1 Pancreatic Cancer. Her first surgery will be on August 7th. Recovery is 6-8 weeks, so she will not be able to begin teaching this school year at Hidden Oaks in August. Finding affordable housing and paying medical bills is a weight that she cannot bear alone. Please, Martin County and beyond, let's come together to show this family that they have a village that loves them.

In addition to this gofundme, a group of teachers from Hidden Oaks will begin by taking up a collection to take all three kids for school clothes and supplies and we will be organizing a food train for after surgery. Please message me on Facebook if you would rather give in this way.
