Please support the Schaham Family after a devastating fire .

My name is Stephanie Ruggiero. I am raising money for my sister Mindy Book Schaham, her husband Oren, and their two sons, Jake, who has special needs, and Jesse.

They lost everything they own in a house fire that took place on Thursday, January 23, 2025.

Thankfully, they are safe and well. The damage to their home is extensive, requiring a year or more to rebuild. The contents of their home are unsalvageable. They have no clothing or personal items and are in need of our help.

Prior to moving to Florida, Mindy and Oren were pillars in the community of their home state of New Jersey. Oren was a volunteer EMT and firefighter for over 20 years. Mindy, as a tenacious mother of a special needs child, advocated for the rights of her son and the children of anyone who asked within the school system.

I am asking for monetary donations at this time to help my sister and her family purchase clothing and personal care items and secure a place to live. They have been there and showed up for others in the community that needed help. They are in need of assistance at this time.
