Support Tony stage 4 cancer...& walking again

My name is Brook , I am fundraising for Tony Arruda . We have been together for 20 years and three years ago he was diagnosed with stage four colon cancer with METS to the liver & lung .He has gone through chemotherapy, radiation, cyber knife , 3 liver ablations, oral chemo , multiple surgeries with unfortunately many complications. It's been hard ... to say it mildly but we have fought to remain positive. Recently , he had a medical complication during a six hour cancer liver procedure that left him unable to walk . Tony was at Beth Isreal & once he woke up and the team realized this was NOT due to the anesthesia they decided on an emergency spinal surgery. Once he woke up he still had very little movement and sensation but as time has gone by it's slowly.. very slowly starting to return . He now has VNA home nursing & therapy many times a week . The most difficult part is to watch him a man who farmed for his living to be confined to a hospital bed at home 24/7 . . It has taken a toll on his spirit but he works so hard at therapy always trying to push it a little harder . He still has a very long road ahead and a major liver resection operation coming up . I am asking for donations to assist with bills and to help pay for any medical equipment and or household modifications that may be necessary for his wheelchair . He is a lifelong farmer which is his passion not only his profession. He is happiest on the tractor on the farm with his family & friends. His worst fear is he won't be physically able to return to the thing that he truly loves the most ....... He farms mainly in Raynham MA ( his hometown) & Bridgewater MA and misses it so deeply . I pray he will return to eventually. But for now I want him to be able to concentrate on his difficult rehabilitation instead of worrying about his finances & responsibilities. Tony is funny, caring and loves his family & friends. He has a huge heart & always will help a fellow farmer or friend in need . He has many more memories he wants to make with them . This is the last thing he wanted to do and that's why I am the one reaching out for him . I thank you for you love & support no matter the donation please know it helps !!!
