Please Support Tracy's Fight Against Lymphoma

Hello, my name is Rebeca Anderson Garty, and I’m starting this GoFundMe for my amazing Step-Sister, Tracy Tankersley. Tracy is a 41 year old devoted Mother to her 12-year-old Twin Daughters, Brooke and Breanne, amongst several other titles she holds. Recently, Tracy received the very unexpected and devastating diagnosis of B Cell Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma.

Tracy is ready for her fight! With proper treatment, prayers and God's willing, we are all hopeful with a positive outlook and have expectations that she will beat this! She has begun an 18-week course of chemotherapy treatments, with sessions every three weeks, followed by a Neulasta shot to boost her immune system. Tracy is also using a cold-capping method, which helps retain her hair during chemotherapy. Unfortunately, neither the Neulasta shots, which cost $1,860 each (she’ll need six in total), the cold-capping nor several other medical treatments and drugs are covered by her Insurance. Additionally, Tracy’s insurance deductible is $8,150, meaning the medical bills are already beginning to pile up.

On top of the financial stress, chemotherapy leaves Tracy physically drained for approximately a solid week afterwards making daily tasks like preparing meals, taking her girls to their activities and managing household chores overwhelming.
