I am Iulia Kotenko from Moldova.
I am the mother of two wonderful boys – Semion (11 years old) and Andrey ( 15 years old).
I raise my sons myself, as my husband and their father died 2 years ago.
Not so long ago another disaster came to our house...The youngest son Semion was given a terrible diagnosis – Brain Arteriovenous Malformation.
Immediate surgical intervention is required sins the brain vessels may burst at any moment ...!!!!!
When my son grew up , I noticed that something was wrong... He did not tolerate the heat, he was not able to ride a bicycle well.Then I attributed everything to the imperfection of physiology and thought that over time everything will pass.
Last year the first attack occurred , Semion fainted - we went to the hospital , where a vegetative disorder was diagnosed. After a course of treatment we gradually calmed down and tried to forget that terrible day.
To our horror , the attack repeated in April of this year. An extended medical examination was performed and diagnosed Brain Arteriovenosis Malformation. (MRI 29.04.2020)
The verdict of Doctors – an very urgent, very complicated brain surgery is needed. Otherwise vascular rupture may occur and this us either disability or death.
I am very afraid for my son Semion.
Unfortunately , it is not possible to perform such a complicated operation in our country .
In search of a clinic that would agree to accept us , the German CHARITE Clinic was the first respond. Professor PETER VAJKOCZY is very encouraging and says that Semion has a great chance of getting better. But time is fly .... it is our big enemy, because the amount set by the clinic for the operation is extremely huge for me now.... We found some of the money, but it is a drop in the bucket...
From many sources I know that your foundation saves many children regardless of citizenship.
I beg you to help my son too – I love him so much and I can not to lose him.
