My wife wanted to start a gofundme account for me, but it was easier for me to setup since I'm a little better with the computer!
Out of nowhere this odd rash appeared on my face. The picture provided is not the worse it's looked; I just didn't want to gross everyone too much! It burns so much that I keep a wash cloth on it constantly. It itches beyond belief. My glasses fog up due to the heat coming off my face. Sleep is practically non existent.
Once the rash has been there for about two weeks, my blood pressure begins to drop dramatically making me pass out. I go through times when I pass out 4 to 5 days in a row. On several occasions when I was driving (before I know what was going on,) I passed out momentarily...fortunately I came to and pulled off to the side of the road.
Dr's have found adrenal insufficiency but have no clue why I'm passing out. It's got to have something to do with the hormone levels, but they haven't figured it out yet. This has been going on since Feb 2015. Rash lasts for about 6 weeks on average...then will disappear for 3 to 4 weeks. I"m currently going through the third round!
I've been in the ER on 4 separate occasions. Three times in one week in May. Spent two and half days in the hospital that same week. I've already reached my maximum out of pocket on insurance (and just now starting to make small $10 payments on each....total medicals that I am responsible for tops $7,000.)
All of my docs have suggested going to the Mayo Clinic. They all say I shouldn't be passing out, but I still am. And I know that if they can't get a handle on the adrenal situation....it can be fatal! Since I'm still having these "episodes," it tells me the doctors haven't figured it out yet! So I have an appt. at Mayo Clinic in late August. No telling how long we will need to stay....so the trip could get expensive.
Needless to say this has changed my life dramatically! Would appreciate any donation you could afford.......$1, $5, $10, $25 $50, $100 etc.... Please help! Thank you.
