K9 Therapy Can Save A Life
Donation protected
Hello friends and family,
First, thank you for visiting this page. I'm soliciting help for someone I have known nearly my whole life, who is more dear to me than they may ever know. I'd like to shed some light for contextual purposes without divulging anything too personal.
Extreme emotional trauma can destroy life, whether caused suddenly by a single event, or as the result of a series of deeply painful experiences over several years time. Anyone who has watched someone they care about suffer from trauma's aftermath knows the absolute helplessness of wanting to help, but knowing there's little they can do.
There aren't many sadder things than to be left with, "I wish I could have done something".
We can do something. Despite even my own intial doubt, a K-9 Therapy Dog will help get this person into a place where additional experienced health services can take hold. The science in this field is conclusive and the need is immediate.
There are numerous factors that determine cost, between specific breed and whether the dog is "ready-to-train" or "already-trained," etc. Unfortunately, this person's family is battling numerous financial challenges and I am unable to afford the full $2,000 on my own.
I hope you will all understand -- there are certain sensitivities relating to this person's specific circumstance which require that I keep their name private. Just please know, without any exaggeration or over-dramatization, this will significantly impact the life of someone dear to me and to many others.
A lot or a little -- please help.
Thank you so, so, so much.
