Pleiades - making masks for front line workers

We are a children’s clothing company, and our mission has always been to be a light in dark places.  During this time, we have transitioned a portion of our time and resources to making protective masks for children and adults.  We have already donated many masks to those who need them, and we are seeking to donate 2,000 more masks to those who need them most in our community:  local homeless shelters, local senior living centers, Clinica Family Health  and additional front line workers that don't have adequate protective equipment at this time. 

Mask making has proven to be time consuming and expensive, and the demand is more than we can fill.  We need you to partner with us to help serve our community!  We have set up this GoFundMe to raise the $8,000 needed to produce 2,000 masks.

How will this money be used?

100% of the funds raised here will go towards making masks for donation:  acquiring material and keeping our incredible seamstresses gainfully employed. 100% of the masks made from these funds will be donated to frontline medical workers.  We are also selling masks on our website during this time to raise additional funding.  However, the funding raised here on GoFundMe will not be used to produce masks for sale on our website.
