The Plentywolf Singers, a traditional Lakota drum group from Denver, Colorado, and nominated for, “Group of the Year” for the 15th Native American Music Awards, has been asked to perform live for the Native American Awards Ceremony on November 14, 2014 in Salamanca, New York.
Our drum group is honored and very excited for this opportunity! In fact, we can hardly hold in our excitement! We are asking our friends and relatives to help with our travel expenses to get there. 10-14 members of the drum group will venture out on November 12th via two rented mini vans. Our expenses will include the rental of said mini vans, gas, and hotel accommodation on the road. Our estimated and conservative guess for these expenses is about $3220.00 round trip.
