Please help me promote my books

Being a writer is expensive. We make next to nothing and even those of us with a publisher often have to pay for our own marketing and publicity. This locks out a lot of writers like me without the financial means. Readings, books to send to reviewers, buying our own books to sell at readings. It all adds up.

Because we aren't able to promote and market our books, they are less likely to get reviewed, promoted and submitted to prizes, which means they are far less likely to sell.

That's why I'm trying to raise funds to do some of that promotion, to give my books a better chance of being put in front of readers. They can't buy them if they don't know they exist.

The Los Angeles Review of Books called my memoir, We Are Not Okay, ‘ineffably important...relentless and courageous and entertaining and upsetting.’
