Ploy McLees Medical Emergency
Donation protected
Ploy McLees started having kidney problems when she was young. She spent a lot of time in the hospital when she was young because of it. Ploy’s kidneys were still functioning but much lower than 100%. The doctors told her to always drink a lot of water and that’s what she did. Ploy moved to the USA and lived a normal life until the end of 2016. We took her to the doctor because she was having issues with her vision. This is when we found out she had renal failure and her kidneys had almost completely shut down. The prolonged high blood pressure from renal failure is what caused the vision problem. Ploy went on dialysis until 2020 when she received a kidney transplant donation from her husband. Life was back to normal until she got sick on vacation in Japan a few days ago. Ploy is in the ICU being given dialysis and has been diagnosed with Acute Pancreatitis and diabetes so far. Ploy is stuck in Japan alone because her cousin that she traveled with must return to Thailand because his travel visa expires. Ploy’s husband is trying to go to Japan to be with her but plane tickets and hotels are very expensive. Also, the hospital is charging $2000 per night while Ploy stays and we don’t know how long she will be there.
