Plug-Back-In For Charity
Donation protected
I want to give up social media from Thanksgiving Eve to New Years Eve for charity---- but you won't let me!!! (which I appreciate)
Now, here's how *this* will work - for every $100 donated, I will go back on social media for a day. As with the gofundme.com/UnPlugForCharity site, all funds will be evenly split between Friends of Camp Little Notch and Col. Albert Pawling Memorial Statue Project.
For those wondering: Camp Little Notch is a former Girl Scout camp in the Adirondacks which is now run by many of its former campers to serve today's youth on the eastern side of Lake George. The Pawling Statue Project is a local endeavor that is partially being spearheaded by my brother Adam to erect a statue of Troy's first mayor, Albert Pawling, at the intersection of Pawling Avenue and Congress Street.
My overall goal - between these two fundraising sites - is to raise $1,000 over the course of the 35 days.
For this particular donation site - since you're donating to get me back online - in the comments when you donate, please say when you'd prefer that I post and/or go back online, and if you have any post requests. (ie - "What's in Danielle's Car?"/ "What I learned this week"/ or general politically incorrect nonsense.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. Feel free to also check out the other gofundme page: gofundme.com/UnPlugforCharity
Your friendly neighborhood,
Danielle
