Plunkett Family Relief

Kim has been sick since August.  She was hospitalized for extreme swelling over her entire body, accompanied by chest pain, nausea & shortness of breath.  We were uninsured at the time, so they patched her up & sent her home.  She suffered for four months with swelling, and widespread muscle & joint pain.  We finally got insurance in January & she was diagnosed with both Lupus & skin cancer.  (Lupus was recently ruled out, but no alternative diagnosis has been reached).  She had surgery this week to remove a section of her lip/face (where the cancer was) and is currently recovering.  She also has a large atrial aneurysm, which needs further evaluation (bubble study echocardiogram).

Our son became ill in January, and has undergone many tests, but does not yet have a diagnosis either.  He suffers from extreme fatigue & joint pain.  We will be seeing a pediatric endocrinologist for further evaluation next week.

To add to it all...Kim's mom was recently diagnosed with stage 4 gallbladder cancer & just started chemo.

The cherry on top...Joe lost his job, without notice, this past Monday!!!  

We have lived paycheck to paycheck for years, and have no savings or investments.

Our only income right now to support our family of 5, is Kim's hobby of selling handmade goods on Etsy, which is not nearly enough to survive on.

What will we use your money for?

First...
We will pay for services such as water, phone, auto insurance, etc.  These are services we are in immediate danger of losing.

Second...
The next thing we need is to be able to purchase food & household goods. It would be fantastic to be able to cover the next two weeks, while Kim recovers.

Lastly...
We would like to pay some of our medical bills, even a small amount on each.  We currently owe thousands, but would like to pay enough to stop collections from calling.
