Pluto's Emergency Vet-cation

Looks like it's my turn to make one of these. My sweet Pluto ended up at the emergency clinic on Sunday morning after I realized he was lethargic, puking foam, and in pain. In my family, we will cut off a limb if it means saving our animals so I told them to do what is needed to be done for my baby. His bloodwork showed signs of pancreatitis so he spent 24 hours at the clinic on IV fluids and various pain meds. I called Mastercard to increase my credit card limit after I maxed it out on the Friday before at the vet when I took him in based on a gut feeling. I've also been paying the rent alone since December which means I didn't have as much saved up for him as I normally would.

So, here we are now. Pluto is currently home and resting (high as a kite on methadone, pupils the size of saucers) and we have follow up bloodwork to do next week to check him again, along with probably more meds and tests.

I hate to ask. I'm not asking. But I will leave this here in case you have an extra $5 or $10 you won't miss laying around.
