Medical Expenses

Hi, my name is Sydney and I am fundraising for Ani Bene of Cypress, Texas.

In the early morning hours of December 16, Ani suffered a massive hemorrhagic stroke. She had been feeling ill over the course of 2-3 weeks and had been to the ER for a CT scan. She was evaluated, cleared, and discharged home. The severe headaches continued until finally, her brain couldn’t handle the pressure and a vessel ruptured causing massive bleeding inside her brain. She had emergency brain surgery to alleviate the pressure and drain the accumulated blood. Although it is still very early in her journey, she is unable to speak and has no movement on her right side.

She will need long term care for a very long time. Currently,

she lives with her husband and 2 sons. Her husband works 5-6 days a week, 12 hour shifts, on the other side of town. Commuting makes his days 14 hour days at best. She has only a mom and brother but they live in Hungary and her mother is frail and not in good health. They are unable to assist. They are honest, hard working , family oriented people who now are going through the worst time of their lives.
