Hi. Some of you may already know me but for those that don’t - my name is Ashley Wayne. Nick and Erica are like an extension of my family and some of my best friends- along with their babies, Ethan and Lydia.

Recently, Nick was diagnosed with cancer that involved intricate surgery and a 6 day hospital stay away from his family. He is currently gearing up for Radiation & Chemotherapy treatments and lots more doctors appointments to come.

His loving wife Erica has taken time to be by his side every step of the way. Both are burning through their vacation/sick time at their jobs to continue to make it though as normal as possible.

As we all know - the average illness can cause temporary undue burden and financial stress. In this case, Nick is battling something that may take a little longer to bounce back from. He is currently traveling back and forth to Rochester for treatments, spending his days at doctors appointments and trying to rest.

A cancer diagnosis is stressful - not only for the patient but for the family as a whole. The worry of ‘what if’ is heavy. The last thing we want Nick and Erica to worry about are the extra expenses of medical treatments, gas, special dietary items, etc! Many people have reached out asking to help. A flood of offers are coming in many forms but to make things easier for them, and to allow them to focus on Nicks health - I’ve set up this GoFundMe account. All donations will go directly to them to use as they need during this difficult time.
