Lach MacTavish Medical Expenses
Dear Family and Friends of Lach MacTavish,
On August 24th we became aware that Lach scheduled and reported for a surgery for the removal of a brain tumor. We came to learn that the tumor was surrounding the entirety of his frontal lobe. The removal caused immense swelling and severe bruising to the brain. To alleviate the pressure and to avoid further complications, the frontal portion of his skull was removed. Progress of his recovery is in motion as doctors and nurses are carefully monitoring him around the clock. He is stable and remains in the ICU until his rehabilitation can begin.
While we rejoice in the sustaining of Lach's life, we also ground ourselves in the reality of how severe and extensive recovery will be.
We have created this GoFundMe in anticipation of the mounting medical bills, living expenses and any related expenses for his extended recovery.
Words from his daughter Cameron: “I am sincerely thankful for your prayers, encouragement, and reminders of truth during this difficult time. What a joy and comfort it is to hope in the Lord, for He is my Shepherd, “...and I shall not want” Psalm 23:1 If you think of it, please continue to pray for my father’s recovery, and wisdom for the doctors/nurses as they navigate the best course of action in continuing to provide care for him.”
Words from his daughter Zoe: “Thank you everyone for keeping my Dad in your thoughts and prayers. I am so grateful for your support.”
Thank you for considering a contribution and for sharing this post with your friend groups.
The MacTavish family would like to express our sincere gratitude for your prayers, and encouragements through this difficult time. We will update his progress as it develops.
