Counseling Trip to Uganda, Africa

My name is Pam Monjar, and the man pictured with me is my amazing husband – Dale!  His love and support encourages me daily!

I am a grad counseling student at Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, Tennessee.  I have the opportunity to participate in a life-changing trip to Uganda, Africa in August 2018 with a group of my graduate classmates from Trevecca.   

During our two-week stay, we will be equipping leaders with counseling skills and techniques, consulting on community issues, providing individual counseling, and mentoring people in various areas of need. I am excited to have the chance to share the counseling skills I have learned with others. The skills taught to community leaders will allow them to assist others discover their personal strengths, explore learned thoughts and behaviors, find solutions to life’s challenges, and so much more! 

The funds raised will be used to cover the cost of travel to Uganda, Africa as well as room & board from August 3-18, 2018. My goal is to raise $4000 by March 2, 2018.
