Gerlinsky Memorial Fund
Donation protected
Dustin Gerlinsky was tragically taken from Lyndi and her two young children on September 15, in a work accident. I know that I am not the only one that has a heavy heart for Lyndi and her children. I also know that the entire community of Creston is sitting around wondering how in the world they can help reach out?
9 years ago I lived through almost the EXACT story and would like to reach out to Lyndi and her children as this has hit very close to home for me. I know that Lyndi and her children will experience an out pouring of love from friends and family, which is amazing, but I would like to reach out and help in the most helpful way I know how, speaking from my own experience... money.
I ask that you donate cash to this fund. This can help Lyndi pay for funeral expenses, loss of work income, and keeping up as a single parent financially while she trys to hold her household together in the upcoming months. She will be experiencing unbelievable and unfathomable grief and the last thing she needs is the stress of money. No one can begin to imagine the weight that has been placed on her both emotionally and financially. She needs our support.
If you wish to drop off a sympathy card to go along with your donation, please do so at Creative Fix, 139 10th Ave. North, Creston (across from the Fire Hall) and I will make sure that she gets it.
I am so very sorry for your loss Lyndi. There are no words.
