Graham Cannon and Cannon Family
Hello Friends,
I am a long time friend of Vicki Cannon. Many have asked how they can help the Cannon Family since Graham was diagnosed June 3, 2020 with Soft Tissue, Spindle-Cell Sarcoma. Humbly through Caring Bridge Vicki always just asked for prayers, to donate blood and mask up as we maneuver through the pandemic. I offered many times to create a GoFundMe and now is the time they are beginning to see the
medical expenses begin to add up.
For those not familiar, Graham found a lump on his back that was eventually diagnosed as Soft Tissue, Spindle-Cell Sarcoma. July 7 2020 he had surgery to remove the tumor which was the length of a football. Pathology came back as a very rare and aggressive type cancer. At the time of Graham’s diagnosis there were only 70 verified cases. Because of the rapid growth, size of tumor and aggressiveness he was diagnosed with stage 3 cancer. Luckily scans have not shown any other locations.
Graham has completed 7 rounds with 2 cycles of chemotherapy (14 weeks). He had about a month of recovery before starting radiation for 6 weeks. He will be finished May 28.
Covid has definitely added a spin to everything as you can imagine. Gus and Vicki could not go into any appointments or treatments with Graham. All transportation has to be in the family as Graham’s immune system is too compromised. Vicki has been Graham’s main transportation which she has had to turn down contract work.
It is so hard to ask for help, so I am doing doing this for them. All money will be used to cover high insurance deductibles, medical bills and lost wages.
Thank You for the continued prayers and support for the Cannon Family,
Karen Tabuchi
