Eagle Enclosure

Donation protected
Discovery Bay Wild Bird Rescue (DBWBR) and the Northwest Raptor and Wildlife Center (NWRC), Bird Rehabilitation Centers, both located on the beautiful Olympic Peninsula, have been offered a 100' Eagle enclosure to be used for conditioning injured and orphaned Bald Eagles. These majestic birds require a large enclosure 16' high, 36' wide and 100' long to allow them room to build strength again for the rigors of a wild life. The enclosure itself is paid for, however, it needs to be taken down and moved from Yakima, WA where the previous owner is no longer doing rehabilitaion, to be relocated in Port Townsend WA at DBWBR where we will need some excavation work and then reassembly. To move this large enclosure will also require a semi-trailer from Yakima to Port Townsend. This is a big endeavor but we are hoping with your help we can raise the funds needed to make this dream a reality.

Here on the beautiful Olympic Penisula we see our national bird flying free, alot! How lucky we are! At the bird centers we see them in need of help from accidents with wires, cars, gun shots, traps, poisons and other toxins.  With this eagle enclosure we hope to release many eagles who will be given a second chance.

We are hoping to get this project off the ground within  the month because the Yakima Center would like the enclosure moved. Thank you so much for your support of this special endeavor.
