Please help us with medical emergency bills

I'm starting this fundraiser to raise money for my dad. He was in critical condition and had acute respiratory failure when we took him to the ER on Monday, August 26th. He was then admitted to the ICU for severe pneumonia in both lungs with a few infections. When we took him to the ER, he had been on antibiotics for a week, as prescribed by his clinician, but his condition had only been worsening. He was coughing up blood, could barely finish a sentence, and collapsed several times. Despite the severity of his condition, he refused to go to the hospital for many days due to the cost of hospital bills. 

Currently, his condition is stable. We are taking it day by day and seeing how he responds to treatment. The doctor warned us if things were to take a turn for the worse, they would need to take a biopsy of his lung and put him on life support. 

We are going through financial hardships currently and  if we are not able to pay his insurance premium of $2,028 by August 31st, he will not have any health insurance for September. Without insurance, the cost of his hospital stay is estimated to be about $10,000 per day. If he continues to improve, the doctor suspects he'll only need to be in the ICU for another 6 days.

Afterwards, he is supposed to be in bedrest for a month. We don't know how long it will be until he can work again.
