A life gone too soon

A friend has lost her brother due to a tragic accident, leaving behind a mother who is ill, a sister who lent a helping hand in raising him and a girl friend who like so many loved him dearly. please note* funds raised are to assist with funeral costs and to help support Helen who is ill. A helping hand to alleviate some of the pressure during an already stressful time A message from : Jessica Zimmermann daughter, sister and friend: Some of you already know about this, for those that don’t...I’ve been struggling with how and what to say about this for the last 24 hours. Last week my mother was admitted to the ICU, she is still in the hospital waiting for more tests and doing a bit better since they cleared an infection. Yesterday my brother Karim Gilbert died unexpectedly. We are all grieving, in shock. He was 35 years old, he was a friend to everyone he met. He was kind, creative, and had a great sense of humour. He leaves behind his partner of over 10 years Jessica Zenhenko, all of her family members that he was so close to, including Bev Pridmore his mother in-law, as well as our mother Helen Gilbert, cousins, uncles and aunts.
