Help Us Rebuild Our Lives After Tragedy

Hello everyone!

Our names are Lisa, Niamh and Martin Breen. We are reaching out with heavy hearts to share our story and seek your support during an incredibly challenging time. Recently, (Wednesday 25th September 2024) our family home was destroyed in a devastating fire, leaving Lisa and our dad homeless and without the belongings that held our cherished memories—especially those of our beloved mother, who we lost in 2020.

Our dad, Martin, who is currently undergoing chemotherapy for terminal cancer and also battles epilepsy, is particularly affected by this loss. The stress of our situation is overwhelming, and we worry about the impact on his health as we navigate this difficult time without a stable place to call home. We are all currently split up, couch-surfing from home to home.

While there is no price on the memories we have lost, we are asking for your help to rebuild our lives. We are hoping to raise funds to secure essential items, for example clothing, as well as rebuild our home, to which will provide some stability for our family, especially for our dad.

Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant difference. – whether it be a monetary contribution, clothing donations or any tradespeople that would be willing to help us, we would be forever grateful. Your kindness and support mean the world to us as we try to find our footing again.
