Help me fight Cancer and keep my dream alive

In 2022 my husband and I moved to Portugal to follow our simple life dream and build our home and homestead after completing a 4 years renovation project which we sold at a profit to finance our dream.

Building our own home after COVID certainly had its challenges which My husband and I overcame with a smile and a lot of creativity. Yet what we didn't know is that our biggest challenge was still to come. On August 18th 2023, I was rushed to the hospital with pain in the stomach after picking potatoes with our community. This led the doctors to discover that I now have a cervix, uterine and ovarian cancer and I am now fighting for my life.

With little to no means to generate an income to help me pay for my medications and treatments. My husband and I have no choice but to turn to the online community and seek help. Our simple life dream has turned into a nightmare and we need your help to overcome this mammoth challenge.

Sindy sadly passed away in 2023 on December 3rd with me, Dan, by her side, as I was from the day we got the diagnosis.

Sindy fought a braver battle, always with a smile on her face until the very end, Sindy was a warrior princess, my soulmate, my best friend, and my loving wife.

I now pick up the pieces and get back to my new simple life in the mountains of North Portugal as I continue to build on our dream, a homestead.
