Are you ready to ring in the new year? Looking for a resolution? We have an idea that can bring a little extra joy to your life - make this years resolution to help save animals! We are running a sponsorship program here at Pocket Pawz (see more about our sanctuary on facebook at https://www.facebook.com/PocketPawzRatRescue/) to help fund our rescue. With your donations, we can help to remove animals from abusive/neglectful situations, rehabilitate sick and injured animals, and find everyone the perfect loving furever homes!
Here’s how it works:
- First, you’ll need to pick a rat (or several ) you would like to sponsor. All sponsorable rats pictured on our top pinned facebook post are ‘lifers’, rats that have either physical or behavioral issues that make them unadoptable. We care for them til the end of their days as beloved pets, medicating and assisting them through their disabilities which are described under their individual photos. Your donation helps us to continue to care for them, as terminally ill rats can be very costly!
- Next, pick a donation amount per rat. This is a one time donation, but if you want to repeat it each week/month/etc the gifts will also repeat. Here is what you will receive per donation amount:
* $5 and you will be messaged an adorable photo of your chosen rat sitting with a handwritten thank you note just for you!
* $15 and you will be physically mailed a handwritten thank you note and a print out photo of the rat, signed with a real ink paw print from your chosen rat!
* $25 and you will be mailed a signed thank you note along with an original painting on a small canvas made by your chosen rat!
* $50+ and you will be mailed a signed thank you note along with an original painting on a large canvas and a surprise bag of small crystals had picked by your chosen rat ❤️
- Once you have all that decided, send your chosen donation to our PayPal at [email redacted], and sign it with your full Facebook name (your name MUST be shown on the donation and match up to the name used on your Facebook). At the moment donations can only be accepted through PayPal (preferred) or our GoFundMe.
- Once your donation is sent, either message us on facebook or post a comment on the top pinned sponsor post on our facebook page telling us how much money was sent as well as which rat you want to sponsor. We will respond to you as soon as we can to inquire about mailing address’s and details. (Note, we can only pay for shipping within the US at the moment. If you are outside of the US you will be required to pay shipping fees before the items are sent.)
