Poetry & Settled Status for All
Donation protected
We are raising funds to cover publication and distribution costs for a poetry anthology exploring the theme, Settled Status or Indefinite Leave to Remain for All.
The anthology will explore themes that include lived experience of being a migrant or seeking refuge in Britain and the Irish States, migrant or refugee experiences of rural and urban life, education, housing, work, healthcare, immigration and asylum systems, and the hostile environment as well as calls asking Britain and the Irish States to give settled status or indefinite leave to remain to all who are here who need such leave.
No contribution is too big or too small. For contributions of £15 or more, we can post a copy of the anthology to you once it is out.
Any amount raised over and above what we are looking for will be donated to Coventry Asylum and Refugee Action Group (CARAG) and Regularise.
The anthology will be published as a paperback by CivicLeicester, an indy publisher that uses video, photography and the arts to highlight conversations.
