Pointe shoe trip 2024

Hello. My name is Hannah La Trobe, and I run On Your Toes School of Dancing—Pembrokeshire. My school runs in Haverfordwest and Hermon (nr Crymych).

I have been teaching ballet for over 25 years. Every 2 to 3 years, a new group of students reaches the level of training required to wear pointe shoes. These students have typically trained for at least 8 years and must have attained a substantial level of technical ability. Pointe shoes are necessary for the examinations that these students can now prepare for at the vocational level.

However, these shoes need to be fitted by a professional and can cost anything over £100.

I understand how challenging these extra financial burdens can be for families, so I strive to raise as much money as possible.

My goal is to ensure that each student has the same opportunities as their peers. I do this so that every class member can advance their training to the next level without any financial worries.

I am looking to raise as much money as possible and am open to sponsorships from local businesses. Any donation, no matter the amount, would be greatly appreciated.
