Poison IV Concert - Support UNDERREPRESENTED Arts
Hello!
If you are on this page, we have to give you a big THANK YOU already for being here!
We are rIVerse - a Toronto-based pop/r&b group with a mission to
REPRESENT THE UNDERREPRESENTED. On the very last day of 2020, we independently released our sophomore album, 'Poison IV,' as our way of offering healing and hope to the world. Because of the global pandemic that has now been affecting all of our lives for the past year, we have not been able to tour and perform this music like we had originally planned... so now we are putting on a VIRTUAL CONCERT to bring the live performance experience to our global audience.

Poison IV Virtual Concert
>> Listen to Poison IV Here <<
Additionally, since we always strive to uplift our underrepresented communities, we are using this concert experience as a fundraiser to donate money to Allies In Art - a non-profit organization whose mission is to support artists who are womxn, BIPOC, and LGBTQQIA2S. With the success of this crowdfunding campaign, we are committing to donate $10,000+ to this charity to help other artists who have faced systemic barriers, just like us, receive the support they need.
While we are an independent group, our quality of production is never anything but the highest level. For this full concert experience, we have partnered with an incredible online concert production company, VCR (Virtual Concert Reality), to create a 60+ min show of the songs on our 'Poison IV' album, and more! In order to make this show the level it deserves to be, there are several expenses that need to be covered. Below is a breakdown of all the costs we have calculated.

More about rIVerse:
rIVerse is unlike anything else in mainstream media, with
members of various races, genders, sexual orientations, body types, etc. rIVerse has been independently creating high quality, competitive music for almost 9 years without any management, agency or label support. Our hard work and creative vision have awarded us opportunities such as singing the national anthems at multiple NBA Toronto Raptors games, opening for Carly Rae Jepsen at WorldPride, a month-long tour in Seoul, South Korea, as well as several collaborations with k-pop idols.
Our ultimate goal as a band is to use our music and content as the platform to bring representation and self-love to mainstream media.
More about Allies In Art:
Allies in Arts is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Our mission is to support artists who are womxn, BIPOC, and LGBTQQIA2S — all of whom are underrepresented individuals in creative industries.
Artists from our communities face barriers as a direct result of race, gender, sex, and sexual orientation. We seek to break down those barriers by awarding grants, curating exhibitions and screenings, and connecting artists with the decision-makers who can hire them.
Founded in 2015 by entrepreneur/musician Paco de Leon and queer filmmaker/activist Drew Denny, Allies in Arts operates in collaboration with an advisory council representing all communities that we support.
Each of our programs is spearheaded by a member of the community that program means to empower.
WE CAN DO THIS!
Thank you so much to each and every one of you for being here on this page and learning more about who rIVerse is and what we have to offer. We are excited about this virtual concert and cannot wait to share the full performance with our amazing IV League family, all around the world!
We believe in the power of community and we know that, together, we can make this happen! We thank you, we love you, and we remind you that you are Beautiful, you are Worthy, you are Valued, and you are Loved!! #BWVL
Much love,
Dizz, Khadija, Zak & Monroe
