POLICE ACCOUNTABILITY NOW!

I believe "police accountability" ought to be demanded and demanded "across the board". So I initiated a nation wide demand using a petition "hoping" to galvanize a nation wide movement! The signatures on the petition have been slow in moving forward. So I've been fundraising using this website to generate funds. To date we have over 39,759 signatures and not nearly enough for a nation wide movement, nor to assist those families in need of support who are asking for assistance as a result of the work which is already being done. I have posted this work on my page NATIONAL ACTION AGAINST POLICE BRUTALITY over the course of time, so people could see what I am doing towards these efforts. Much of the work was done BEFORE I ever begun a "campaign fundraiser". But as a result of that work, the request for assistance grew - right along with the increase of murders by police! To be blunt, I cannot afford to do it alone. I am asking for assistance from the people, the same people whose voices have gone unheard. Those who have "signed" the demand in support of nation wide action have been asked to donate. Those looking to assist an effort which will benefit "all of us" are asked to donate as well. Donations will not only help us to become a viable force to be reckoned with, but enable us to assist those in need of support, in addition to firmly establishing our organization. This is an "grass roots" effort begun by "one woman" running on faith that there is "strength in numbers" and the power of the people can prevail. I do not believe "scattered efforts" here and there will obtain the justice that is needed across the board. If we are truly seeking an end to police brutality and murder, it must be done across the board! Your donations will not only help to push the demand forward, but help to spread the demand far and wide. If people don't know about it, they can't "be about it" and join the demand in progress.
