Police Officer Nick Piotrowski

Tax deductible
Trenton, NJ Police Benevolent Association, Local #11 is asking for support for Police Officer Nicholas Piotrowski. Officer Piotrowski has honorably served with the Trenton Police Department since October, 2016.

On Tuesday, January 3rd the Office of the New Jersey Attorney General, and more specifically the Office of Public Integrity and Accountability, returned an indictment of Officer Piotrowski for Official Misconduct. This baseless charge was unjustly brought against Officer Piotrowski for doing his job. Officer Piotrowski followed the use of force policy of the Trenton Police Department, and the NJ Attorney General's Guidelines.

This indictment of Police Officer Piotrowksi is an attack against every law enforcement officer serving in the State of New Jersey. If the NJ Attorney General's Office of Public Integrity and Accountability can seek an indictment of an officer for following their own offices’ use of force guidelines, no law enforcement officer in the State of New Jersey should feel safe from the New Jersey Attorney General and the OPIA.

Please consider helping Officer Piotrowski in his fight against this wrongful indictment. Officer Piotrowski has been suspended without pay pending the outcome of his charge.

Thank you.
