Police Officers home destroyed by Fire

This afternoon, my friend and colleague lost his home, his dogs, and all of his possessions in a tragic house fire in Bridgewater, MA. You may know Glenn as the guy who works too much or for his quick wit, but most of you know him for his dedication to service and helping others. He has run into burning building to rescue people, performed CPR saving countless lives, and dedicated his life to protecting and serving. Its time we give back, and help the man who has helped so many without hesitation.

Glenn and his wife had their lives shattered today- the home they raised their children in, found solace in, and were about to retire in has been declared a total loss, along with ALL of their lifelong possessions inside. Gone are the family heirlooms, clothes, photo albums, jewelry, and most devastatingly, their three dogs: Baxter, Hazel and Mocha who were killed in the fire despite the resuscitation efforts of the Bridgewater Fire Department.

Glenn, the man who has always been there for us, for our community, and bravely served the people of Boston for over 30 years, is wearing his Northeastern University Police uniform right now- as he doesn’t even have any other clothes to wear due to the destructive forces of this fire. His wife and he are devastated, and at a loss of words and emotion. Let’s step us as a community and help the Lindsey Family in their time of need.

The proceeds of this GoFundMe will be used to help offset the costs they are facing, and will help them get their lives back on track after such a tragic event. Nothing will bring back what they lost but lets try to alleviate the stress of this misfortune.
