Polish Supplementary School in Manville, NJ

Do you remember a certain expression Grandma (Nonna, Oma, Abuela, Babcia, दादी ) would say when you were a child?
Or perhaps you remember a recipe, passed down from generations before you.
Regardless, connecting to our roots and heritage is something we ALL can relate to. Some of us are fortunate enough to expand our education in this specific area, like the students of the Polska Szkola , Polish Supplementary School in Manville, NJ.
For nearly 35 years the Polish School in Manville, NJ has partnered with local parishes, to enable students and parents with ties to Poland to have a piece of their homeland here in the U.S. Unfortunately, due to the unforeseen circumstances surrounding the COVID-19 world pandemic and the inability to fundraise like years prior, our doors are threatening to close forever.
We need your help.
Our students receive scholarships to top universities, volunteer their time within the community, and even have the opportunity to gain a bi-literacy certification, allowing them to use it as credits in high school and college.
As the biggest investor in Polish culture in the tri-state area, the Polish School is heavily involved with many local parishes for community & volunteer events. From bake sales and dances to worshiping together, to dinners and parties and more. We cannot imagine our children growing up without Polish School.
If you are financially able to help us keep our doors open, we would greatly appreciate your support. There is no amount too small. If you are unable to give, we kindly ask that you share this link on social media.
With gratitude and Dziekuje,
Students, Teachers and Parents of Polska Szkola
Dear community,
My name is Natalia Lopes and on behalf of parents and kids from Polish Supplementary School in Manville, I have started this much needed fundraiser. In an effort to keep the school's door open, we need to come together to raise the necessary funds. Every penny counts and is much appreciated. 100% of profits will go to maintain the School.
Sincerely,
Natalia
