Urgent Polish-Ukrainian Refugee Immigration Needs

Ukrainian refugees desperately seeking services at Polish American Association!
The effects of the war in Ukraine are devastating. Widows, orphans, and broken families are traumatized in ways only those among us who have seen combat, been refugees, or displaced persons from other wars can truly understand. Poles have a long history of living these traumas. Now, we are called upon to give back and aim to serve Ukrainians who are turning to us in their time of greatest need.
Although PAA receives some public funds to assist in the Ukrainian crisis, it is nowhere near what is necessary to carry the strain our agency is under with this crushing situation. We are desperate to expand services to all who arrive. Food, employment, legal assistance, mental health services, parenting support, language classes, and translation services are just a fraction of the support we provide.
The photo we've selected above is a building we own but which requires a complete rehab in order to bring it into service. This is but one example of how your donations will be used and an apt representation of the rebuilding of Ukrainian lives.
We expect the demands on our agency to be severe over the long term and our fundraising requests of you will continue. Please, help us to expand and deliver our services by making your donation today. We cannot do this without your continued support.
Mission: Rooted in Polish heritage for nearly a century, PAA advances today's diverse immigrant communities.
Founded in 1922, the Polish American Association (PAA) has provided immigrants with programs and services that enable them to change their lives. The PAA is a human services organization providing a comprehensive range of culturally sensitive services to immigrant communities and others in need.
