Thank you for taking the time to read our story. I am Rachel, the oldest daughter of Polydore Girard. Diata, the middle and second daughter and Paul, his youngest and only son.
Our dad is a great man, we are very proud of all he does helping others in his many ways. He is a selfless sole, he never asks for much, yet he is always giving, always there to give the shirt off his back. Im sure many of you have eaten his famous Chicken n slider soup, or maybe received potatoes, or raspberries from his garden. The past few years he has perceivered through some health challenges, kicked kidney cancer 11 years ago, and fought the battle of a concussion the last few years. Now, as we all know, cancer sucks... kidney cancer has reared its ugly head, and is back... Our dad has a baseball size tumor on his adrenal gland on his healthy kidney, also the cancer has metasticized to his pancreas. Polydore has been doing all he can to fight this beast with healthy eating and habits after a round of chemo. December 12, he will go in for surgery to remove his adrenal gland, pancreas, bile duct, gall bladder, and spleen...
As many of you know, he has a wonderful hard working wife, Dorota. Helping financially will allow Dorota to take time off from her hairdressing job and care for dad and keep the home going.
Becoming ill is nothing any of us want, or really can afford. If you feel you can help, Dad, Dorota, and his children are truly grateful.
