Polytunnel appeal

We hope to raise funds to purchase a polytunnel, this will really take our gardening project up a level and in turn will benefit the wider Folkestone, Cheriton and Hythe communities too. Win, win!

Our aim is for the polytunnel to deliver the following positive benefits:

Increase our capacity to grow more fresh organic veg to use in our cooking classes.

Increase our capacity to grow more “home grown” veg to serve at our community meals.

Propagate seeds to share with our local community garden partners.

Extend our donations to local food charity projects.

Increase our ability to donate flowers to community spaces.

Lastly and most importantly it will provide a space of well being and calm for the residents to come and garden in. Our mint plants never get out of control as they are constantly being harvested for delicious cups of mint tea that are sipped whilst taking a breather in the peaceful space.
