Pompa Family

Hi my name is Liz Pompa and I am asking for help for my son Dakota and his wife Bethany and our beautiful grandson Sage.

It’s hard to believe it’s been two and a half years since we found out about Sage’s double aortic arch and vascular ring. We’ve been so lucky that he’s been healthy, growing, and until now, really hasn’t shown any signs that anything is wrong. Cardiologists and the fantastic surgical team met with Dakota and Bethany over Christmas Break and they have decided it’s time to have his surgery to correct it since his symptoms have started.

Sage’s heart surgery is on January 16th at Texas Children’s in Houston. He is such a strong little guy and we know he is going to do amazing. Dakota and Bethany are both high school English teachers in Victoria at Victoria West. They Both will be taking a leave of absence from work during Sage’s surgery and recovery.
