Pono Hawaiian Kitchen & Tap needs your help!
Donation protected
On Friday April 19th we entered our new restaurant location in Santa Cruz ready to work and to our shock we were burglarized during the night and over 15k worth of construction equipment owned by a partner/ contractor was stolen from the premises. Unfortunately insurance will not cover ANY of this loss.
We have been tirelessly trying to get this location ready to open and this has completely ceased all work and our ability to do any more work. Each day that passes we accumulate more debt. We are at an enormous loss and are looking to our wonderful Santa Cruz community to kokua (help) us in our time of need.
This money will go towards the replacement of all of the equipment and tools that were stolen as well as help us with lost time on this project.
We would never ask for anything but kokua from any of our valuable friends, family and our community but this is different. We just do not have the capital to cover this loss and the loss in time. We have been working on a VERY tight budget to get Pono Hawaiian Kitchen & Tap open for the public.
Anything you can donate will help us out. We truly and whole heartedly appreciate each and every one of you and want to bring you another wonderful place to share Aloha.
