Please help save Poppy the Chihuahua
Donation protected
Poppy was attacked by another dog and has a broken back and her legs are paralysed but she is still fighting for her life.
She is well known around Woolgoolga as she is always out with her owner, Elaine, spreading cheer wherever they go.
Poppy visits children at schools and elderly in homes, she is an advocate for Fluro Friday and R U OK?
You might know them as Elaine is always pushing Poppy around in a pram as her little legs can't quite walk as far as Elaine's.
She was snatched from her pram while Elaine was volunteering at Woolgoolga's Community Gardens yesterday (Monday). She had no chance. Elaine threw herself into the dogs to save her life.
Elaine was given Poppy as a companion after her husband died and has been the best therapy ever so we want to do everything possible to save her life.
The Vets feel that if she can make it through today and tomorrow there's a good chance they can make her comfortable enough to keep on being Poppy. Just a little less agile.
Please give a little or a lot. Elaine has RSPCA insurance but as you may know that doesn't cover everything.
If you would prefer to donate direct to the Vet I will have the details on how to later in week.
