Poppy's Health Crisis: Support Wayne and Rose Wagler
Donation protected
Thirty minutes before he was supposed to leave to attend his grandson's high school graduation, my father-in-law had a massive stroke and was rushed by ambulance to the hospital.
Family members packed their bags and drove several hours to the hospital in Fort Wayne to be with Mom and Dad.
His stroke was in such an unusual shape and position that it affected both sides of his body. The doctor has never seen one like it before. In addition, he had another stroke while at the hospital yesterday. He does not have use of either side of his body.
Things are looking very grim. If he miraculously pulls through, he will never work again. My father-in-law is a master carpenter. In fact, in the hours prior to his stroke, he was helping my teenage niece build her very own Tiny House.
Both he and my mother-in-law are self-employed, which means they're losing work and income.
My in-laws have always invested in the lives of others. They travel several times a month to help family members in need all over the country. I remember when Allen pastored a small church in Elkhart, we didn't have anyone to lead our children's ministry. So, for an entire year they drove 4-hours-roundtrip each Sunday to teach the kids. They just give of themselves so sacrificially to anyone and everyone. We are so blessed.
If you're willing and able, please consider helping to support them. This fund will help to cover the loss of income and hospital bills.
Your prayers and support mean the world to them.
Thank you!
