WC&Shower&Disinfectants&Hygiene Support and Aid

We are Children of Antioch! We are a group of people from Antakya, Hatay who live in the UK. Our families and friends are in the region affected by the devastating earthquakes.

They are telling us that there is an urgent need for shelter, medical and sanitary products, generators, and washing and laundry facilities.

We are raising funds to send in tents for medical clinics, portable showers and toilets, tents and containers for shelter, disinfectants for controlling diseases, sanitary

products for women and children, generators, and foldable beds.

The needs are identified and addressed locally, in liaison with local community leaders, volunteers, and municipalities. Goods, materials, equipment etc. are procured nearer the affected area to minimise cost and logistical problems.

To give some examples:

£100 can pay for one tonne of calcium hydroxide (lime powder).

£300 can pay for a pallet of disinfectant.

£400 can pay for a power generator.

£4,000 can pay for a shelter.

£1,000 can pay for a portable shower and toilet.
