Portland Community Rowing Rebuild
Donation protected
A down-burst with over 60mph winds hit our boatyard Tuesday, July 10th. We lost over $100,000 of thousands of dollars in boats, and the ability to hold clinics and get more people excited about rowing in Portland. The financial loss is huge, but emotionally this is a crew that was just starting to take off. PCRA was started in 2009 and is a non-profit 501c3 organization. If you would rather donate by check, please contact us at [email redacted].
This is devastating to our team and its founders. This will not be the end of our program. We will not let this disaster stop us from pursuing the sport we love. Please help us by donating, every bit counts.
WMTW 8 Maine News , WGME 13 Maine News , News Center Maine and The Portland Press Herald all reported on the incident.
